Stitch Fix Review #13 - January 2016

I can't even begin to explain how excited I was to see this Stitch Fix box sitting on my porch after taking the last couple months of my pregnancy off.  I was a little nervous that they were going to forget everything about me and my style but thankfully I was wrong!

Of course my daughter decided it was time to eat the moment I brought the box for about 15 minutes I just stared at the box...
Oh how I missed the perfectly hand-packaged clothes!
The biggest surprise of all was I got my stylist Kate back!! Ohhhh how I've missed her! Her notes are so personable and she listens to what I want and always looks at my Pinterest board.  She is, in my opinion, the best you can get when it comes to Stitch Fix.
RD Style - Yolanda Airy Knit Sweater: $58
I actually don't mind the fact that this navy sweater isn't necessarily warm and has to always be layered.  It gives it variety and it was very VERY soft!  It was a little too big up top and I couldn't keep it on my shoulders, plus the sleeves were too short.  SHOCKER...I think Stitch Fix needs to invest in tall sizes

Loveappella - Nelli Knit Top: $34
I really really wanted to love this top for the price!  The material felt like an athletic top though, which made me feel like I should be headed to the gym and the sleeves were too short (do I sound like a broken record yet?). I liked the two-tone greys but at the same time the shirt just overall felt boring.  I didn't feel like any scarf or necklace could fix that issue and because of that I sent it back.

RD Style - Colton Marled Knit Cardigan: $64
Big, comfy, oversize cardigans.  Sounds like it would be the best thing for these harsh winters, but not this one.  The light pink color was fantastic but that's about it.  The sleeves were long enough....when un-cuffed.  It was a little too big and baggy and I wasn't a fan of the "collar" that ran the whole way down.  I contemplated this top for a while because it was so comfortable, but then realized I couldn't pay $64 for a lounge top...

Market & Spruce - Careen V-Neck Dolman Knit Top: $48
Only needed one picture to show you how awesome this top is!  I'm not usually a huge fan of dolman tops because they make people look like flying squirrels...but this one was very subtle! I love the pattern too.  Part of me wishes it had some color to it, but I'm a sucker for black and this is all mine!!

Rune - Porter Legging: $38
First off - please excuse my dirty mirror...I didn't even notice until after I uploaded the pictures!  Clean mirrors aren't even a thought in your mind when you have a 1 month old baby...
Anyways, when I saw "legging" and "$38" I knew it was too good to be true.  I had to try them out though! Everything about them was perfect except being inches short...why are my limbs so long?! For anyone 5' 8" and shorter you NEED these leggings.  Just saying.  But for my 5' 10" body it just doesn't work....

I know I only kept one thing but I still loved this Stitch Fix!  Kate just plain gets me and even though sleeves and leggings were still short she tried! And I know that because she said so in her note.
For those of you still on the fence about giving Stitch Fix a try just do it already! You can cancel any time and you can skip fixes anytime! You can even try one then cancel right after (although I would be very surprised if you did!)
