This Stitch Fix had "disappointment" written all over it. First off it was 3 days late, so the anticipation was killer. And secondly, come to find out, my stylist was on vacation! This girl just didn't quite get it...hopefully Kate comes back for my next one!

Stitch Fix Review #8 - June 2015
I decided to take 6 weeks between the last Stitch Fix and this one and let me tell you, I won't be doing that again! It felt like an eternity and I'm afraid my stylist forgot how tall I was or something. Anyways, please don't mind the mini gut I have going on in these pics....it's not an extra meal it's a baby! :) Can't wait to try out the maternity fixes this fall.

Grilled Chicken with Black Bean Mango Salsa
Another Pinterest fav! This one takes a little more time to prep but totally worth it. The salsa adds such a fresh taste to the chicken!

Stitch Fix Review #6 - April 2015
This month's Stitch Fix was 2 days late and it felt like an eternity! Unfortunately it was sort of a disappointment...but as always it was so much fun! I just had to take a picture outside because the sun was shining and for the first time in a LONG time a jacket wasn't needed to go outside! And good news! For those of you who are vertically challenged or growing a human, you're in luck! They just added petite and maternity! Now to patiently wait for talls...

Photo Coasters : DIY
This was my first DIY project off of Pinterest (surprised?) and I have to say it was simple, cheap, and actually quite fun!
(Ignore the blue line across the top...it's a glare from my TV...)

Crockpot: Brown Sugar Balsamic Glazed Pork
I made this for the first time last week and I could not WAIT to share it will you all! This was my first experience with pork in the crockpot and this will definitely not be the last! Although it requires a little more work than most of my other crockpot recipes, trust me, it will be worth it. The recipe initially calls for pork tenderloin but I used pork chops, and when I went to take them out of the crockpot at the end, I couldn't keep the meat on the bones! They all fell apart but I was totally okay with that...

Crockpot: Beef & Broccoli
This is just the start to many many crockpot recipes! Love love love them.
This is always on the top of my husband's suggestion list whenever I ask him what he wants for dinner. The best part is that I've made it so many times I almost don't need the recipe!
I don't have a picture of this one because I find odd lighting and beef do not mix for a great picture...but trust me it tastes amazing!

Workout Quick Tip #1 - Elliptical
Hello everyone!
I'm very excited to start sharing my workout tips and everything else workout related that I believe will help you reach that goal of yours.
Today I am going to focus on the elliptical. Those of you that are training for a 5K, 10K, half marathon, or full marathon (you awesome crazies), I apologize in advance because Ihate strongly dislike running. But stay tuned for recipes, smoothies, etc that may apply to you!

Parmesan Garlic Chicken
If you are looking for the easiest recipe ever, this will be near the top of your list! Plus if you haven't already noticed I LOVE parmesan cheese. I always keep a backup in the cupboard just in case I run out! It would be a terrible night if I ran out....
Anyways on to the recipe! Just like the last recipe I posted, this one comes from Pinterest so I take no credit for creating it or taking the picture.

Stitch Fix Review #3 - January 2015
Thank you Stitch Fix for totally redeeming yourself! I received my third fix this month and even though I was nervous to open a box meant for my grandmother again, I was surprised to see clothes that I would actually wear! So, I will warn you, you are about to see a lot of mirror selfies...let them begin!
(If you are unsure what Stitch Fix is please check out my first post about it here)
Spicy Parmesan Shrimp Pasta
You will find that most of my recipes come from Pinterest so I take no credit in creating these! I am just blogging these recipes so you can join in on the deliciousness too!
After making this recipe three times I've come to the conclusion that it needs to be doubled just for my husband and I. So if you want to make this for a family definitely double the recipe! If you have a husband like I do that loves to eat and you want to have more than a couple pieces of pasta for leftovers...double it!

Stitch Fix Review #1 & 2 - November & December 2014
Have you heard of Stitch Fix?? If not here is just a quick recap of the awesomeness.
First off you fill out an in depth style profile where you put all your sizes and styles you like/don't like. It asks which part of your body you like to show off and which parts you like to keep hidden. This profile can be changed at any time and notes can be written before and after each box is sent to you. For $20 a month (or really however often you want!) Stitch Fix assigns a personal stylist to you and this person picks out 5 items to be sent right to your house! It's like Christmas every month! They send anything from clothing to bags, scarves, and jewelry. You can opt out of any of these options within your style profile. I opted out of jewelry since I usually get cheap stuff at places such as Forever 21...I lose or break everything.
Once your box arrives you have 3 days to try everything on in the comfort of your own home and decide what you want to keep and what you want to send back. Each box comes with a prepaid envelope to send back the items you do not want for free. Your stylist fee of $20 will be deducted from whatever you decide to keep, and if you decide you love all 5 items you can get an additional 25% off the entire box!
After you send back your items you can go online, checkout, and write notes on each item they sent you. Then you get to choose when your next "fix" will ship. At any point you can skip/reschedule/cancel your subscription with Stitch Fix at no charge.
